Frank J. Bubon,78, of 3 Sterling St., died suddenly Saturday, Dec. 6 at his home.
He leaves a daughter Beth-Ann Silva and her husband Steven of Dudley, a brother Raymond Bubon and his wife Kathleen of Auburn, a sister Alice Michniewicz of Murrieta, Calif., his grand daughter Meghan E. Silva of Dudley and his former wife Elaine (Sanders) McCrudden of S.Grafton, nieces and nephews. He is predeceased by several brothers and sisters.
Mr. Bubon was a senior project engineer at Emhart Glass Co. in Windsor, Ct. where he worked for 24 years, retiring in 1994.
He was born in Palmer, the son of Albert and Bertha (Koss) Bubon. He served his country during the Korean War in the U.S. Army. He graduated from Commerce High in 1949, and received an Engineering Degree from TriState College in Indiana in 1957. He was a member of the Cherry Valley American Legion Post 443. He was an avid fisherman.
A memorial Mass for Frank will be held on Wednesday, Dec. 10 at 11 a.m. in St. Aloysius-St. Jude Church, 489 Pleasant St., Leicester. Burial will be at a later date in Massachusetts National Cemetery, Bourne. There are no calling hours. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to American Diabetes Assoc., Mass. Affiliate, 330 Congress St., 5th. flr., Boston, Ma. 02210.
