CHARLTON: Frederick F. "Rick" Leasot, III, 74, passed away peacefully at his home on Friday, October 24th with his family by his side. He is survived by his loving wife, Susan A. Leasot of Charlton, his son, Bryan M. Leasot of Spencer, Susan's two children, Brian Pulver and Don Ellis, a grandson, Alex Baker, two granddaughters, Zoe and MaKenna Ellis, a great-granddaughter, Roxanne May, along with many cousins and close friends. His wife, Carole D. (Chaput) Leasot and their infant son, Mark D. Leasot both predeceased him.
Rick was born and raised in Worcester the son of the late Chester and Doris (Bourbeau) Leasot. He graduated from Sacred Heart Academy, attended Worcester State University and proudly served his country as part of the Army National Guard. He worked several years with Norton Company in Worcester until his retirement and later drove with Knights Limousine. Rick loved spending time with his family, playing golf, traveling all over the US to play golf while collecting golf balls from each course he would play, taking cruises to island destinations with St. Martin being a favorite and he was a longtime member of St. Joseph's Church in Charlton. All who knew and loved Rick will miss him dearly.
A Memorial Mass will be held Saturday, November 1st at 11am in St. Joseph's Church, 10 H Putnam Road Ext, Charlton, MA 01507. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to: VNA Care, Fund Development Office, 100 Trade Center, Suite G-500, Woburn, MA 01801 or at: vnacare.org/donors The J. HENRI MORIN & SON FUNERAL HOME, 23 Maple Terrace, Spencer is assisting the family with arrangements.
