Gary S. Orsi

NORTH OXFORD; Gary S. Orsi, 56, died Friday, July 30 in his home after being stricken ill.

He leaves his four daughters; Angela M. Shea of Rochdale, Alicia D. Orsi of Worcester, Stephanie M. Orsi of Southbridge, Lydia E. Kenny of Worcester, two brothers; Dennis P. Orsi of Worcester, Robert A. Orsi of Spencer, his mother, Ellen L. (Gustafson) Orsi, four sisters; Susan M. Sheridan of Oakham, Caroline A. Lauder of Leicester, Lisa J. Calnan of Upton, Karin M. Orsi of Cherry Valley, 5 grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.

Born in Worcester, he was the son of Alfred P. Orsi, Jr., who died in 2005.

Gary was a journeyman sprinkler fitter for over 30 years working in the family business, Orsi Sprinkler Co. He was a graduate of Leicester High School. He loved playing music on his six string acoustic guitar and on the drums.

A Memorial Service will be held Friday, August 6 at 10:30 A.M. in the First Congregational Church of Leicester, 1 Washburn Square. Burial of ashes will follow in Cherry Valley Cemetery.
