Genevieve Joly

HUBBARDSTON: Genevieve Joly, 35, died Sunday, August 23rd, in Hubbardston.

Born on December 17, 1990, Genevieve was educated at Hubbardston Center and Quabbin Regional High School. She attended Barre Congregational Church.

Genevieve had managed the Health and Beauty section of the Franklin Food Co-Op since 2018 and was known for the joy she brought to those around her and the lasting impression she made on everyone she met. She was also a member of UFCW Local 1459.

Genevieve found happiness in the simple and meaningful parts of life. She enjoyed playing guitar, hiking, and spending time with friends and family. Her life was also marked by a caring and loving spirit that many will remember with deep affection. She was described as compassionate, gentle, and kind—an angel on earth.

She will be deeply missed by her parents, David M. and Marguerite Joly; her sister, Gabrielle Joly; her brother, David T. Joly; many friends and relatives; and her beloved cats, Snowky and Nugget. She was predeceased by her maternal grandparents, Gregory J. and Marguerite E. Pasceri; her paternal grandparents, Gilbert T. and Lillian Joly; and her aunt, Sharon Stone.

Genevieve will be remembered with love and gratitude for the kindness she shared, the joy she brought to others, and the warmth of her presence. She will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.

A funeral service will be held on Saturday, September 5th, at 11 a.m. in the J. HENRI MORIN & SON FUNERAL HOME, 23 Maple Terr., Spencer. Calling hours will precede the service from 9 to 11 a.m. in the funeral home. Burial will follow in Northside Cemetery, Charlton.
