EAST BROOKFIELD: George B. Perreault,83, of E.Brookfield, passed away peacefully, surrounded by his family on Thursday, Oct. 16th. at his home. He leaves his wife of 63 years, Theresa H. (Glowik) Perreault, his sons; Peter J. Perreault and his wife Michelle of Worcester and Steven J. Perreault and his wife Lynn of Barre, his daughters; Eleanor A. Kelly and her husband Thomas of Acworth, NH, and Ginny A. Soto and her husband William of Spencer, his uncle John Ricard of Auburn, 7 grandchildren, and 6 great grandchildren, his sister-in-law Bernice "Bruncha" Milaszewski of Florida and nieces and nephews. He is predeceased by his brother; Roland Perreault and his sister; Marie LaBelle.
Born in Worcester, he was the son of George B. and Hermina (Ricard) Perreault. George worked as a crane operator at Wyman Gordon Co. in Grafton and Worcester for 42 years, retiring in 1998. He was a member of the Auburn Elks, and the Sons of the American Legion/ Post 443, Cherry Valley. George loved listening to country music, spending time with his family and friends and watching science fiction movies.
George's funeral Mass will be held on Tuesday, Oct. 21st. at 10 a.m. in Our Lady of the Angels Church, 1222 Main St., Worcester. Friends are asked to go directly to the church. Burial will follow in Notre Dame Cemetery, Worcester. Calling hours at the J.HENRI MORIN & SON FUNERAL HOME, 23 Maple Terr., Spencer are Monday from 4 to 6 p.m. in the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Quilts of Valor, P.O. Box 781, Spencer, MA 01562 or Worcester Animal Rescue League 139 Holden St, Worcester MA 01606.
