George L. Perry Sr.

George L. Perry, Sr., 90, of Longview Drive and formerly of West
Brookfield died Wednesday Oct. 26, in Radius Healthcare, Southbridge after
an illness.
His wife of 63 years Ethelyn I. (White) Perry died Oct. 5. He leaves
two sons George L. Perry, Jr. of Spencer and Robert R. Perry of Sturbridge,
a daughter Joan A. Benoit of Chicopee, a grandson Aaron G. Perry of
Worcester, a great-grandson Kyle R. Delude. He is pre-deceased by a
grandson Troy Cummings.
Mr. Perry was born in West Brookfield son of Reuben N. and Lottie
(Roper) Perry. He graduated from Worcester Boys Trade. He was a Foreman at
the Wyman Gordon Co. in Worcester for over 35 years retiring in 1978. He
was a former West Brookfield part time Police Officer and Fireman. He was a
member of the Bay Path Chapter A.F.& A.M. Masons. He enjoyed gardening,
dancing and playing cards.
Funeral services and burial in Pine Grove Cemetery, West Brookfield are
private. Calling hours are Friday Oct. 28 from 5:00-7:00 PM in J. HENRI
MORIN & SON FUNERAL HOME, 23 Maple Terr., Spencer. In lieu of flowers
memorial donations may be made to the Alzheimer's Association, 36 Cameron
