CHERRY VALLEY: Gerald F. Kelley, 85, went home to be with the Lord on Thursday,
August 1, 2024 at home surrounded by his loving family.
Gerald was born in Worcester to the late Harold and Margaret (O'Connell) Kelley. He
worked as a custodian at Leicester High School for over 12 years after retiring from
Wright Wire in Worcester, MA.
He is survived by his loving wife of 55 years Gail (Bolivar) Kelley, his son Anthony Torte
and his wife, Colleen of Arcadia, Fl, his 4 daughters; Dawn Morrison and her husband,
Michael of Petersham, Charlene Breton and her husband, Stephen of Cherry Valley,
Laurie Fenneuff of Cherry Valley, and Faith Whitney of Worcester. He also had 9
grandchildren; Shawn Morrison, Leah Zell, Elisha Kline, Sarah Shelott, Luke Fenneuff,
Candace Rondeau, Adam Whitney, Kaleb Whitney, and Carter Whitney, 13 great
grandchildren, and a great, great grandchild, as well as a sister-in-law, Audrey Lovely,
several nieces, nephews and many friends. He is predeceased by his 3 grandsons;
Michael Morrison, Joshua Breton and Matthew Tessier, as well as 3 brothers, Harold,
Donald and Richard and a sister, Joan Bogan.
Gerald was a longtime member of The Mill Church in Millbury for over 15 years where
he enjoyed serving the Lord. Prior to that, along side his wife, he also enjoyed serving
the hurting people in Worcester through an outreach called the Soul Patrol, where they
would feed over 100 people on a Sunday afternoon. He also loved spending time with
his family which he did most days. He was a kind, compassionate soul who would do
almost anything for anyone and those that had the pleasure of knowing him, were better for it.
Calling hours will be held at The Mill Church, 45 River Street, Millbury, MA on Saturday,
August 10th from 10am - 11am, followed by a Celebration of Life Service at 11am.
