Gertrude M. Suter

SPENCER: Gertrude M. (Sasseville) Suter,81, of Howe Village, died Tuesday, Feb. 24 at home.
Her husband of 51 years, David R. Suter died in 2006. She leaves her son Gary D. Suter and his wife Donna of Spencer, her daughter Kathy J. Henderson and her husband Daniel of Spencer, her brother Ronald Sasseville and his wife Wendy of Brookfield, five grandchildren; Colby D. Henderson, Casey L. Suter, Zachary G. Suter, Caylin L. Henderson and Courtney M. Henderson, nieces and nephews.
Gert worked alongside her husband in the photography business they owned in Spencer. She enjoyed travelling to Walt Disney World with her family and her annual cruise to Bermuda.
She was a devoted grandmother to her five grandchildren and enjoyed spending time with them.
A memorial reception will be held in the Howe Village Social Hall (off McDonald St., Spencer) on Sunday, March 8 from 1 to 4 p.m.There are no calling hours. Burial will be private in Pine Grove Cemetery at a later date.
