Glenn F. Martin,42, of 1 Sumner St., died Thursday, June 2 at
Westfield Noble Hospital where he was taken after a construction accident in
Westfield.
He leaves two sons, Ryan P. and Kyle F. Martin of Auburn, his parents Gerard
E. and Janet I. (Fortin) Martin of Spencer with whom he lived, two sisters
and their husbands Susan L. and Michael T. McKeon of W.Brookfield and Donna
M and Todd M. Dean of Mansfield, several nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and
cousins.
Mr. Martin was an elevator constructor for Bay State Elevator Co. in Agawam,
previously he worked for Otis Elevator Co. and Associated Elevator Co. He
was a 16 year member of the International Union of Elevator Constructors,
Local 41 - Worcester. He served in the U.S. Air Force during the
Lebanon-Grenada War.
He graduated from David Prouty High School in 1980, and attended Worcester
Boys Trade School. He enjoyed spending time with his sons, playing cribbage,
eating "party mix" and working out doors.
Funeral services will be held Tuesday, June 7 at 11 a.m. in the J.HENRI
MORIN & SON FUNERAL HOME, 23 Maple Terr., Spencer. Burial will follow in
Mary,Queen of the Rosary Cemetery, Spencer. Calling hours are Monday, June 6
from 5 to 8p.m.
