Gloria S. (Speakman) Hutchins

LEICESTER: Gloria S. (Speakman) Hutchins 91, of Parker St. in the Rochdale section of Leicester, died Sunday, March 23 at The Meadows of Leicester.

She was the wife of Norman F. Hutchins, Sr. who died in 2000. She leaves her son Norman F. Hutchins, Jr. and his wife MaryLou of Rochdale with whom she lived, three grandchildren; Matthew J. Hutchins and his wife Kimberly, Mark A. Hutchins and Maureen M. Darmanin and her husband Jeffrey, seven great grandchildren; Annikah, Olivia, Matthew, Amelia, Nathan, Megan and Jacob, and a great great grandson; Connor.

Gloria was a surgical instrument technician at Memorial Hospital in Worcester for 33 years, retiring in 1988. She was a member of Our Lady of the Angels Parish in Worcester and enjoyed cooking and spending time with her grandchildren.

Born in Worcester, she was the daughter of Samuel and Elizabeth (Shea) Speakman.

Private funeral services will be held at the convenience of the family with entombment in Notre Dame Mausoleum, Worcester. There are no calling hours.
