Henry A. Metterville Jr.

BROOKFIELD: Henry A. Metterville, Jr., 93 formerly of Deer Run, died Friday, Dec. 30 in Quaboag Nursing & Rehab in West Brookfield.
He was the husband of Anita C. (Young) Metterville who died in 2009. He leaves three sons Dennis N. Metterville and his wife Dorothy of N.Brookfield, Gary H. Metterville and his wife Debra of Webster and David L. Metterville and his wife Amy of N. Brookfield, his daughter Chrystal J. Dalve and her husband Mark of W.Brookfield, 8 grandchildren, 15 great grandchildren and a great great grandchild, nieces and nephews. He is predeceased by daughters Patty A. Metterville in 2001 and Christine A. Metterville in 2014 and a son Scott H. Metterville in 2012, sisters Barbara White, Irene Mezejewski, Marion Khoury and Dorothy Butkiewicz
Born in Leicester, he was the son of Henry A. Metterville, Sr. and Mabel (Strom). He was a longtime foreman at Owens Illinois Corp. before retiring in 1970. The family would also like to thank nurses Donna, Barbara, Mandy, and Kathy and all his caregivers at the nursing home for the great love and care he received. You all went above and beyond with our dad. Thank you so much.
