Irene E. (Noel) Roy

SPENCER: Irene E. (Noel) Roy,98, of Howe Village, died Thursday, Feb. 3 in Quaboag Nursing & Rehabilitation, W.Brookfield.

She was the wife of Henry Roy who died in 1996. She leaves her sons; Andre Roy and his wife Kathleen of Spencer and Norbet Roy of W.Brookfield, her daughters; Frances Haltinner of Cantonment, FL., and Diane Aoun and her husband Joseph of Ventura, Calif., a sister Monique in Canada, 14 grandchildren, 18 great grandchildren, 7 great great grandchildren, several nieces and nephews. She is predeceased by her sons; Jean Paul Roy in 2018 and Claude Roy in 2021.

She was born in Hardwick, VT., the daughter of Real and Laura (Gonthir) Noel. She was a member of Mary,Queen of the Rosary Parish.

At her request, no funeral services are planned. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Spencer Rescue Squad, Inc., 6 Bixby Rd., Spencer, 01562.
