WORCESTER: Jaime M. Miranda, 47, of Worcester, died suddenly in his home on Friday, May 15th.
He leaves his daughters; Laci and Chloe, his father; Rodolfo Miranda and his wife Cheryl, his mother;
Deborah (Brunelle) Oliver and her husband Stephen, his step-mother Lynn Sweeney and her husband Roger, his
siblings; Rodolfo Miranda and his wife Emily, Kyle Miranda and his wife Ashley, Joshua Oliver and his wife Lindsey,
Stephen O'Connor, Richard McComas, Tracey Nelson, Michelle Barnes and her husband Robbie, and Lorell Trimby
many aunts, uncles and cousins.
He was born in Worcester and later graduated from David Prouty High School in Spencer. He worked in the
maintenance dept. at Worcester Academy in Worcester. Previously he worked at Becker College in Worcester &
Leicester for 20 years.
Jaime was a fighter from the very beginning. Though the effects of his early arrival that remained throughout his life,
they never defined who he was. Jaime faced life with quiet strength, faith, determination, and a heart full of love.
He was loving, patient, compassionate, and always willing to help others without expecting anything in return. He found
peace and happiness in the outdoors, especially while fishing – something he truly loved and where he felt closest to God
and nature. He also enjoyed working on his Jeep, spending time watching birds, appreciating life’s simple blessings with
his beloved dog, Cody by his side.
More than anything, Jaime will be remembered for the love he gave so freely, the courage with which he faced life’s
challenges, and the warmth of his smile that could brighten even difficult days. His life was a beautiful reminder that
strength is not measured by the obstacles we face, but by the grace, kindness, and faith we carry through them.
Though his time here feels far too short, his spirit now rests peacefully in God’s eternal care, free from pain and in the
loving arms of his grandparents, Elsie Brunelle, Juan and Paula Miranda. He will forever remain in the hearts of those
who were blessed to know him.
Private funeral services will be held at the convenience of the family. There are no calling hours. In lieu of flowers,
donations may be made to Brookfield's Lions Club, P.O. Box I28, No. Brookfield, MA 01535 in his memory.
