James F. Donohue, Jr.

SPENCER: James F. Donohue, Jr., 79, died Thursday, November 13th at his home surrounded by his family.
He leaves his wife of 56 years, Carmen O. "Candy" (Fortin) Donohue, his son, Patrick J. "Bubba" Donohue and his wife Tara, his daughter, Shelly C. Lacaire and her husband Corey, his mother, Geraldine E. (Fegreus) Donohue, his sister, Nancy Berthiaume and her husband Blaise, four grandchildren; Casey Racine and her husband Jacob, Nolan Lacaire, Liam Donohue, Connor Donohue, a special niece, Jenny Davis and her boys, all of Spencer, as well as several other nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his father, James F. Donohue, Sr. in 2004.
Born in Worcester he was a graduate of South High School in 1963 and UMASS-Amherst Agricultural School. He served his country in the US Army. Jimmy worked as a poultry inspector for the USDA and then worked for CRC in Spencer and Worcester, retiring in 2015.
He was a former Spencer Little League coach and helped in field management. He was a member of the David Prouty Boosters Club.
He was a member of the Friends of Cranberry Meadow Lake Association and was an avid fisherman and hunter. A Funeral Service will be held, Saturday, November 15th at 11 A.M. in the J. HENRI MORIN & SON FUNERAL HOME, 23 Maple Terrace, Spencer. Burial will follow in Worcester County Memorial Park, Paxton. A calling period will be from 9:30-11:00 A.M. in the funeral home, prior to the services.
