SPENCER: James V. "Zeke" Zikaras, 75, passed away unexpectedly Sunday December 7th at his home.
He leaves his daughter, Jennifer A. Booth and her husband Seth of Warwick, Bermuda, two grandsons, Dustin G. Hilliker of Spencer,
Cody J. Hilliker and his fiancé Morgan Westerback of Spencer and their daughter Hayden, a granddaughter, Addison G. Booth of Warwick Bermuda, two sisters, Paula King and her husband Arthur of Spencer, Jeannette Young and her husband Ronald of Pennsylvania. He was predeceased by his infant granddaughter, Hunter M. Booth in 2007.
Born in Worcester, he was the son of Victor & Claire (Letendre) Zikaras. He proudly served his country in the United States Marine Corps during the Vietnam War. Zeke was a plumber for more than 25 years and retired in 2013.  He was a lifetime member of the Spencer Fish & Game Club, a proud member of the NRA, an avid fisherman and enjoyed riding his Harley. Most of all he loved spending time with his family. His daughter, grandchildren and great-granddaughter were the light of his life.
A Celebration of Zeke's life will be held at a later date and at the convenience of the family. Please omit flowers. Contributions in his name may be made to Tunnel to Towers Foundation, 2361 Hylan Blvd., Staten Island, NY. 10306. The J. HENRI MORIN & SON FUNERAL HOME, 23 Maple Terr., Spencer is assisting the family with arrangements.
