Janice D. Madsen

OXFORD/BROOKFIELD: Janice D. (Moulton) Madsen,86, of Oxford and formerly of Brookfield, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, Nov. 25th. at her home.
She leaves her niece; Deborah (Marrier) Zarzecki and her husband Mark of Oxford with whom she lived. She leaves her sister in laws; Barbara Wozniak, Sarah Moulton, Leah & Lorraine Moulton, and many nieces and nephews. She is predeceased by her brothers; Ernest, Richard, David, Kenneth, Gary, Harold, Jr., and Kevin Moulton and Donald DuBois, and her sisters Barbara Marrier and Phyllis Nealer and her longtime companion who she loved dearly, Bill Remington who died in 2017.
She was born in Ware, the daughter of Harold Moulton, Sr. and Hazel (Hirbour) Moulton and lived in Brookfield before moving to Oxford in Oct. 2023.
Janice was a longtime housekeeping supervisor at Holden Nursing Home prior to her retirement.
A graveside service will be held for Janice in Pine Grove Cemetery, Pine St., Leicester at a later date and at a time to be announced. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Second Chance Animal Services, P.O. Box 136, E.Brookfield, MA 01515.
