Jeanette L. Forgit

Jeanette L. (Roy) Forgit 93 of 1075 Main St. died, Saturday, August 21at the Clark Manor Nursing Home in Worcester after a long illness. She was the wife of Armand A. Forgit who died in 1955. She leaves two sons; Richard A. Forgit of Leicester, Roy F. Forgit of Worcester, four daughters; Lorraine T. Classen of Ft. Lauderdale, Fla., Anne M. Daigneault of Tulsa, Okla., Marguerite E. Leveille of Leicester, Pauline A. Vallee of Columbus, Ga., a sister, Antoinette Gagne of Northbridge, 21 grandchildren, 37 great-grandchildren, 1 great-great grandson and several nieces and nephews. She was pre-deceased by a brother Rene Roy, a sister Marion Lacasse and two grandchildren; David Daigneault and Gary Leveille. She was born in Webster the daughter of Arthur & Delia (Barre) Roy and has lived most of her life in Leicester.Mrs. Forgit was sales person for many years at Denholm & McKay in Worcester, retiring in 1973. She was a member of St. Aloysius-St. Jude Church in Leicester and was a past president of there Guild. She was a former president of the Rochdale P.T.A. and past president of the Leicester Senior Citizens Club. She was also a former group leader of the Rochdale 4H Club. She enjoyed sewing, knitting and crocheting.The funeral will be held Wednesday, August 25th from the MORRISON-MORIN FUNERAL HOME, 1131 Main St., with a Mass at 10 a.m. in St. Aloysius-St. Jude Church, 489 Pleasant St., Leicester. Burial will be in St. Roch's Cemetery, Oxford. Calling hours are Tuesday from 5-7 p.m. in the funeral home.
