Jeannette C. Benway

SPENCER: Jeannette C. (Valliere) Benway 88, of Howe Village, died Thursday, Aug. 9 in Mary Lane Hospital in Ware.

Jeannette worked at the former Brookfield Athletic Shoe Co. in E.Brookfield before retiring in 1992.

She was born in Spencer, the daughter of Alfred and Obella (Plouffe) Valliere. She was a member of the former St. Mary's Church and A.A.R.P.

A graveside service will be held on Saturday, Aug. 11 at 10a.m. in Mary, Queen of the Rosary Cemetery, Spencer. There are no calling hours.
