Joan F. Clark

LEICESTER: Joan F. (O'Brien) Clark,83, of Leicester, passed away peacefully Thursday, April 4th. at The Meadows.

She leaves her husband, Jon E. Clark of 65 years, her son Jon J. Clark of Spencer and his wife Carmen, her daughter, Lu-Ann Cunningham and her husband Kevin of Moosup, CT., her grandchildren, Shane Cunningham of Griswold, CT and Caitlin Cunningham of Pomfret, CT., nieces, nephews and cousins.

She was born in Worcester, the daughter of Joseph and Sally M. (Washburn) O'Brien and later graduated from Leicester High School. She was a receiver/transportation coordinator for over 35 years at the former Millbrook Distributors in Leicester prior to her retirement. In her early years her passion was being part of the Leicester Drum and Bugle Corps, competition ice skating, and later in life her joy was being with family.

A graveside service will be held on Tuesday, April 16 at noon in St. John's Cemetery, Worcester. The MORIN FUNERAL HOME, 1131 Main St., Leicester is assisting with arrangements.
