Joan C. Daniels

AUBURN: Joan C. (Gould) Daniels, 90, of Auburn, died Tuesday March 19th at her home.

She was the wife of Douglas J. Daniels who died in 2008. She leaves her sons: Thomas A. Daniels and his wife Karen M. Rabideau of Bow, NH; and, Scott D. Daniels of Temecula, CA. She is predeceased by her brothers, Dr. John R. Gould DMD and Paul R. Gould, and her sister, Anna M. (Gould) Morrison.

Joan was a longtime registered nurse. Prior to her retirement, she managed the office of her brother Dr. John Gould's (and, following Dr. Gould's retirement, Dr. Robert Ciano's) dentistry practice on West Boylston Street in Worcester.

She was born in Worcester, the daughter of Raymond and Margaret (McNeil) Gould's. She graduated from North High School and was a proud member of Worcester Hahnemann Hospital's School of Nursing class of 1954.

A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, March 26th at 11 a.m. in the MORIN FUNERAL HOME, 1131 Main St., Leicester. A calling hour will precede the service from 10 to 11am.
