Joan E. (Mannix) Coupe

LEICESTER: Joan E. (Mannix) Coupe 74, of 1075 Main St., died peacefully at St. Vincent Hospital in Worcester. She leaves her two daughters Linda M. Ressler and her husband Mark of Barre, and Sharon M. Giggey and her husband Bryce of Leicester, her two sons Stephen J. Coupe of Spencer and Jeffrey E. Coupe of Worcester, a sister Alice Pont of So.Hadley, six grandchildren; Ashley, Mark, Erik, Kevin, Mitchel and Jordan, several nieces and nephews.

Born in Holyoke, she was the daughter of John and Alice (Lambert) Mannix and graduated from Holyoke High School.

Joan was in retail sales for many years at several stores in the Auburn Mall, most recently Sears Roebuck Co. before retiring in 2006.

She forever loved spending time with her family and watching her grandchildren grow. She had a true love for New England Sports. She never missed a Patriots, Bruins or Red Sox Game. She truly just wanted her family to enjoy their lives and everything was fine.

Joan's funeral will be held on Saturday, Aug. 16 from the MORIN FUNERAL HOME, 1131 Main St., Leicester with a Mass at 10 a.m. in St. Pius X Church, 1153 Main St., Leicester. Burial will follow in Worcester County Memorial Park, Paxton. Calling hours are Friday, from 4 to 7p.m. in the funeral home.
