Joanne E. Clough

SPENCER: Joanne E. (Demers) Clough,82, of Crestview Dr., died Thursday, March 20th in the Jewish Home, Worcester.She was the wife of Donald J. Clough who died in 2022. She leaves her son; Scott J. Clough, MD and his wife Megan of Hampden, ME., and her daughter; Jennifer S. Bott of Worcester, her sisters; Marie Delongchamp of Charlton and Suzanne Morrison of Spencer, her special cousin, Madeleine Racicot of Spencer and her beloved 5 grandchildren; Tate, Sophie, Logan, Greyson and Austin, nieces and nephews.
She was born in Worcester, the daughter of Romulus and Lillian (Ethier) Demers and later graduated from David Prouty High School in Spencer.
Joanne was a longtime florist at the former Spencer Flower Shoppe, retiring in 1997.
She was a member of Mary, Queen of the Rosary Parish.
Her funeral will be held on Monday, March 24th., from the J.HENRI MORIN & SON FUNERAL HOME, 23 Maple Terr., Spencer with a Funeral Mass at 11 a.m. in Our Lady of the Rosary Church, 7 Church St., Spencer. Burial will follow in Worcester County Memorial Park, Paxton. A calling period will be held from 9 to 10:30 a.m. in the funeral home prior to the Mass.
