John W. Hazelton

WORCESTER: John W. Hazelton, 60, of Randolph Road and formerly of Boston died Thursday, April 28 in UMass Memorial Hospital, Belmont Street Worcester.
He leaves his mother Sara N. (Holland) Bates of East Brookfield, two brothers; Earl Hazelton of Watertown, New York and Paul Hazelton and his wife Deborah of East Brookfield, two sisters; Sara Hazelton of Worcester and Carrie Hazelton and her husband Mark Long of Statesville, North Carolina and several nieces and nephews.
John was born in Worcester, son of Eugene A. Hazelton and Sara N. (Holland) Bates. He was a waiter for many years at several local restaurants. He graduated from David Prouty High School. He enjoyed the beach, lighthouses, roller blading, dancing and classic cars. He got the most enjoyment spending time with his family.
A graveside service will be held on Saturday, May 7 at 11:00 AM in Evergreen Cemetery, East Brookfield. J. HENRI MORIN & SON FUNERAL HOME, 23 Maple Terr., Spencer is directing funeral arrangements.
