SPENCER: John "Skip" Charles Logan, Jr., peacefully passed away on October 10, 2024, with his family by his side. John was born on June 20th, 1944 to Nellie (Stepanauskas) and John Charles Logan, where he lived in Worcester and Leicester with his two sisters Pamela (Jim) French and Deborah (Paul) Johnson. He is survived by his wife Kathlyn (Kathie) Logan, his daughter Jill Logan of Long Island NY, his twin sons Christopher Logan of East Brookfield, MA and Ryan (Kate) Logan of Pomfret, CT, stepdaughter Michelle (Kurt Edwards) Lucier of Granby, MA, Michael Lucier of East Longmeadow, MA, his grandchildren Sarah Lazuk and Frankie Morgante of Easthampton, MA, Emma Lazuk and Benjamin Edwards of Granby, MA, Brianna Lucier of Thompson, CT, Morgan and Andrew Lingner of Long Island, NY, Saylor, Briar and Lenna Logan of Pomfret, CT.
Skip was a tri-sport athlete and a graduate of St. Peter's High School. He received his bachelor's degree from Nichols College, where he excelled in baseball. He later transitioned to coaching his children's AAU baseball team, the Worcester Heat, which won numerous championships and
national titles. Skip was an avid golfer and enjoyed painting. In his later years, Skip mostly enjoyed the company of his children, grandchildren and his wife, Kathie whom he loved dearly. Skip's funeral service will be held on Tuesday, Oct. 15th. at 11 a.m. in the MORIN FUNERAL HOME, 1131 Main St., Leicester. A calling hour will precede the service from 10 to 11 a.m. in the funeral home. Burial will follow in Notre Dame Cemetery, Worcester. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to American Kidney Foundation, 209 W. Central St., Natick, MA 01760.
