Joseph F. Howard

SPENCER: Joseph F. Howard,69, of Spencer, died Sunday, July 2 in UMASS Memorial, Lake Ave after a long illness. He leaves his wife of 48 years, Bonnie J. (Lamothe) Howard, his son; Joseph N. Howard of Sturbridge, three brothers; John Howard and his wife Carol of Spencer, William Howard and his wife Doris of E.Brookfield and Christopher Carrigan and his wife Jennifer of Lenoir, NC, his sister; Susan Sespaniak and her husband Joseph of Spencer, nieces and nephews.Joey worked at Flexcon Co. in Spencer for 41 years before retiring in 2019.
He was born in Worcester, the son of John "Buddy" F. Howard and Delores B. (Harrington) Howard Carrigan. He is predeceased by his step father Joseph Carrigan. He later graduated from David Prouty High School in 1973.
A funeral service will be held on Thursday, July 6th. at 11 a.m. in the J.HENRI MORIN & SON FUNERAL HOME, 23 Maple Terr., Spencer. Burial will follow in Worcester County Memorial Park, Paxton. A calling hour will precede the services from 10 to 11 a.m.on Thursday. Memorial donations may be sent to Center of Hope Foundation, 1 North St., Southbridge, MA 01550.
