SPENCER; Joseph A. Sardi, 83, of 22D Howe Village, died Monday, February 24 at Howe Village after an illness.
He leaves his wife of 51 years, Theresa E. Sardi, a daughter, Gina M. Beford of Spencer and two grandchildren.
Mr. Sardi was born in Worcester the son of James & Margerita (Valenti) Sardi.
He was a leather cutter at H&H Brown Shoe Co. He served his country in Army National Guard Reserves.
A Memorial Mass will be held Saturday, March 1 at 10 AM in Our Lady the Rosary Church, 7 Church St. Spencer. There are no calling hours. Burial in Pine Grove Cemetery, Spencer will be at a later date.
In Lieu of flowers contributions may be made to Gerson Institute, PO Box 161358, San Diego, CA 92176.
The J. HENRI MORIN & SON FUNERAL HOME, 23 Maple Terr. is assisting the family with arrangements.
