Judith F. Sawicki

LEICESTER: Judith F. (Mycock) Sawicki,82 of the Cherry Valley section of Leicester, passed away on Sunday, Dec.28th in her home.  She was the wife of William S. Sawicki who died in 2024. She leaves her son Gary Heimerdinger and his wife Joanne of Spencer; her daughter Gail Maggio and her husband Phillip of Sumterville, FL; her brother James Mycock and his wife Linda of Windham, ME; her step sons: Kevin W. Sawicki and his wife Julie of Stockbridge, GA, Francis C. Sawicki of Cherry Valley and Russell J. Sawicki and his wife Sharon of West Cornwall, CT; her step daughters: Kathleen M. Raymond of Putnam, CT and Darlene A. Cray and her husband Marc of Sanbornton, NH; 17 grandchildren; 9 great grandchildren along with several nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

Judy was a longtime social worker at Devereux Therapeutic Foster Care prior to her retirement.  She enjoyed quilting, painting, knitting and going to yard sales.  Born in Fall River, she was the daughter of James and Ruth (Benton) Mycock.

Funeral services and burial along with her husband in Cherry Valley Cemetery will be held in the spring. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to: Jewish Home Hospice, 646 Salisbury St, Worcester, MA 01609.
