Kelly A. Mccue

ROCHDALE: Kelly A. (Conroy) McCue, 54, of Rochdale passed away on Friday, June 14 in the comfort of her home. She leaves her devoted husband and life partner of 21 years, Mark B. McCue. She also leaves her mother Judith A. (Lucier) Conroy of West Boylston. Kelly was predeceased by her father Thomas E. Conroy, Jr.

She leaves her brother Dr. Thomas Conroy and wife Robyn of Worcester, sister Christine McKeon and husband Timothy of Worcester, nieces Gabrielle McKeon, A.J. McKeon, and Evelyn Conroy, and nephews Thomas Conroy and Timothy McKeon. She also leaves her uncles, aunts, and many cousins.

Kelly also leaves her extended McCue family of brothers and sisters-in-law; Thomas McCue, Richard McCue (Laura), Mary Cocker (Tom), Ellen O'Neil, Lisa Cooper (Rick), Eileen Dyson-Alexander (Tommy), Andrew McCue (Deb), Mathew McCue (Cassandra) and special brother-in-law Patrick McKeon along with many nieces and nephews, as well as great nieces and nephews.

Kelly was a life member and past President of Cherry Valley American Legion Auxiliary Unit 443 and had a passion for serving veterans, their families and her community. Kelly was a dedicated employee of the Town of Leicester serving as Department Assistant of Inspectional Service for the past 13 years.

Kelly truly found her soulmate when she met Mark. Together they shared some of the happiest times in her life.

Kelly was a big personality. One always knew when she entered and left a room because her nature and spirit naturally elevated the mood. She enjoyed being with family and friends, particularly her sister and friends from the Legion. One of Kelly's greatest joys was being "Aunie" to her nieces and nephews.

Fiercely competitive, Kelly was a rising local basketball star in her youth who retained and applied that competitive spirit in any level of game or contest (no matter how foolish) brought to her in her entire life.

A Memorial Mass will be held on Wednesday, June 19th at 11:00am in St. Peters Catholic Church located at 929 Main St., Worcester. MORIN FUNERAL HOME, 1131 MAIN ST., LEICESTER is assisting the family with arrangements. Calling hours will precede the service from 9:00-10:30am at the funeral home.
