Kenneth L. Phoenix

SPENCER: Kenneth L. Phoenix 74, of Grant St., died Tuesday, Aug. 21 in Mary Lane Hospital in Ware.

He leaves his wife of 50 years, Yvonne E. (Delisle) Phoenix, his sister in law Sandra Delisle with whom she lived and several nieces and nephews. He is predeceased by his step sister Pearl Dufault, and brothers Robert and Albert Phoenix.

Ken was a machine operator at Flexcon in Spencer for 41 years, retiring in 2003. He "was a valuable member of the Flexcon family, and worked on every machine in the plant during his 41 year employment".

Born in Worcester, he was the son of Emile and Harriet (Pariseau) Phoenix.

The funeral will be held on Friday, Aug. 24, from the J.HENRI MORIN & SON FUNERALHOME, 23 Maple Terr., Spencer with a Mass at 10 a.m. in Our Lady of the Rosary Church, 7 Church St., Spencer. Burial will follow in Mary,Queen of the Rosary Cemetery, Spencer. A calling hour will be held from 8:45 to 9:45a.m. preceding the service on Friday.
