Leonard H. Sweeney

SPENCER: Leonard H. Sweeney,83, of Spencer, died peacefully Sunday, May 1.
He leaves his wife, Luise A. (Mulhall) Sweeney, his sons; Kevin F. Sweeney and John P. Sweeney, and his daughter Anne E. Sweeney, all of Spencer, many nieces and nephews. He is predeceased by, a daughter Susan M. Sweeney, a son Brian D. Sweeney who was killed in the attacks in New York City on September 11, 2001, brothers Francis J. Sweeney and Robert T. Sweeney.
Lenny was a corrections officer at the Worcester County Jail & House of Corrections in W.Boylston prior to his retirement.
He was born in Worcester, the son of Michael and Helen (Hamilton) Sweeney.
