SPENCER: Linda L. (Buckmaster) Dagley-Duval,76, formerly of Spencer, died Thursday, July 13 in UMASS-Memorial Medical Center, Worcester.
She leaves her son; Sean D. Dargis and his wife Jennifer of Mendon, her daughter; Lee-Ann Wiseman and her husband Kevin of Falcon, Col., her brother; Jon Buckmaster of Leominster, 6 grandchildren; Brandi, Austin, Gabrielle, Cameron, Thomas and Marley, two great grandchildren; Lilliana and Lexie, nieces and nephews.
Linda was born in Worcester, the daughter of George R. and Lorraine Y. (O'Coin) Buckmaster and later graduated from David Prouty High School in 1965 and then Mount Wachusett Community College in Gardner.
She owned Filter Queen at Home vacuum service for many years. She was a lifetime member of the Vietnam Era Veterans Association, former executive director of the pilot program for State funded Veterans Outreach Centers, and was a coordinator for Serve New England (Knights of Columbus Food Coop Chapter).
Linda was an avid dancer with a passion for home gardening and rock garden design. Always family-focused, her children, grandchildren, and extended family were always her top priority.
She was a member of Mary, Queen of the Rosary Parish.
Her funeral will be held on Wednesday, July 19 from the J.HENRI MORIN & SON FUNERAL HOME, 23 Maple Terr., Spencer with a Funeral Mass at 11 a.m. in Our Lady of the Rosary Church, 7 Church St., Spencer. A calling hour will precede the services from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. in the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Mary, Queen of the Rosary Food Pantry, 46 Maple St., Spencer, MA 01562.
