LEICESTER: Lt. Col. (Retired) George Caswell Falk, 82, of Mayflower Road died Thursday, Feb. 16 in UMass Memorial Hospital University Campus after an illness.

He leaves his wife of 55 years Linda M. Falk, a son Mark A. Falk and his wife Wanda of Lilburn, GA, a daughter Christine A. Falk and her husband Paul Angelo of Assonet, a sister Dorothy Patterson of Norwalk, CT, six granddaughters Lauren, Michelle, Jennifer, Nicole, Carolyn & Victoria, a great-grandson Aidan and several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by three brothers John, Ralph & Alan Falk and a sister Barbara O'Brien.

Lt. Col. Falk was born in Auburn, son of John A. and Anna T. (Blue) Falk. He was a veteran of the Korean and Vietnam Wars and after 21 years of service he retired from the United States Army. He then worked at the Leicester Post Office for many years.

At Lt. Col. Falk's request no funeral services are planned. Burial with full Military Honors will be held in Arlington National Cemetery, Arlington, VA at a later date. In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to USO, P.O. Box 96860, Washington D.C., 20077-7677. MORIN-MORRISON FUNERAL HOME, 1131 Main Street, Leicester is directing arrangements.
