SPENCER: Lucas M. Lacaire, 35, of High Street, died Saturday, Oct. 27 in his home.

He leaves his wife of 8 years, Megan F. (Dumais) Lacaire, his two children, Colton L. and Addison K. Lacaire. His parents Donald B. and Susan L. (Muzzrall) Lacaire of Spencer, his brother Corey H. Lacaire and his wife Shelly of Spencer, his sister Justine L. Barnes and her husband Ronald Barnes, Jr. of E.Brookfield, his maternal grandfather Louis "Pete" Muzzrall, Jr. of Spencer, his nephews Nolan R. Lacaire, and Kane R. Barnes, his nieces Casey R. Lacaire, Alexis L. Barnes, Siena M. Strothers, Contessa J. Strothers and Paige M. Berthiaume.

Luke was honored to be a Worcester Firefighter for the past 4 years. He was stationed at South Division and a proud member of Engine 13. He served his country completing 2 Tours of Duty (Saudi Arabia & United Arab Emirates) with the U.S. Air Force. He later worked in the Fire Dept. at Westover Air Force Base in Chicopee and also Lacaire Lumber in Spencer. He was a former member of the Spencer Fire Dept. He was a member of the Gaudette-Kirk Post 138 American Legion. He played guitar with the local band "Set 4Sixty4".

Born in Ware, he graduated from St. Peter-Marian High School in Worcester, Class of 1995. He leaves his best friend, his black lab "Yawkey". He enjoyed playing guitar, snowmobiling, snow boarding, hockey, music and dancing.

The funeral will be held on Friday, Nov. 2 from the J.HENRI MORIN & SON FUNERAL HOME, 23 Maple Terr., Spencer with a Mass at 10 a.m. in Our Lady of the Rosary Church, 7 Church St., Spencer. Friends are asked to go directly to the church. Burial will follow with Military Honors in Mary,Queen of the Rosary Cemetery, Spencer. Calling hours are Thursday, Nov. 1 from 4 to 8 p.m. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the "Lucas M. Lacaire, Children's Fund", c/o Spencer Bank, 176 Main St., Spencer, Ma. 01562
