SPENCER: Margaret E. "Meg" (Nichols) Moschini, 77 of Spencer, passed away on Wednesday, March 18th at her home after a courageous 6.5 year battle with Leiomyosarcoma with her family by her side. She leaves her husband of 48 years, Robert E. Moschini, her children David E. Michalak and his wife Lenore of Greencastle, PA, Angie M. Facey and her husband Randy of Leyden, MA and Anthony R. Moschini and his wife Jennifer of Spencer, her sister; Marie Anderson and her husband Harold of No. Grafton, her grandchildren; Kolby, Landon, Maya, Ethan, Mason, Charlotte, Sean, Finn, Stella and Vienna, nieces and nephews. She also leaves her daughter Kimberly A. Kubisek and her husband Thomas of Chatham, NY and grandchildren Ryan and T.J. She is predeceased by her granddaughter; Megan Fair in 2004. Meg was born in Milford on September 7, 1948, the daughter of Waldo and Marion (Allen) Nichols. Meg graduated from Grafton High School in 1966 and Salter Secretarial School in 1968 in Worcester. She was a member of Mary, Queen of the Rosary Parish and served on the Worcester County 4H Advisory Board for many years. Along with her husband they owned and operated Royal Crest Farm in Grafton and purchased and moved the farm to Spencer in 1982. Meg was a devoted wife, mother and grandmother. She worked on the dairy farm alongside her husband and children for many years together as a family. Meg had a sixth sense with cows and always knew when one needed extra care. She enjoyed hosting their annual farm parties and attending “farmer parties” with friends. Meg was an incredibly strong, loyal, hard-working and inspiring woman. She had an exceptionally kind heart and was always there for any friend or family member that needed her. She enjoyed sewing, painting and crafting in addition to being an avid gardener and canning expert. Meg and Bob generously donated home-grown butternut squash to the Church Food Pantry for many years at Thanksgiving time. Meg also never missed the chance to go shopping! Meg was a passionate sports fan following the Patriots, Red Sox, Celtics and Bruins. She also enjoyed being the loudest fan on the sidelines when watching her grandchildren play sports. After retiring from milking cows, Meg and Bob traveled to many places with friends. They enjoyed many wonderful trips to Aruba with family and friends. Old Orchard Beach held a special place in her heart. She vacationed there with her family when they were small and again when she and Bob could get away for a night or two. Meg's funeral will be held on Saturday, March 21st. from the J. HENRI MORIN & SON FUNERAL HOME, 23 Maple Terr., Spencer with a funeral Mass at 10 a.m. in Our Lady of the Rosary Church, 7 Church St., Spencer. Burial will follow in Mary, Queen of the Rosary Cemetery, Spencer. Calling hours are Friday from 4 to 7 p.m. in the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to; Mass 4-H Dairy, 95 Hollow Rd., Brimfield, MA 01010 and to Mary, Queen of the Rosary Food Pantry, 46 Maple St, Spencer, MA, 01562.
