CHARLTON/SPENCER: Marie Delongchamp, 90 years young, passed away peacefully on June 11th. She was a loving mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister and friend. Marie was the wife of Edward Delongchamp who died in 1984. She leaves her daughters; Simone Germain and her husband Ronald with whom she lived with. Her daughter Monique Schlegal and her husband Ric. Her sisters; Suzanne Morrison and recently deceased Joanne Clough. Her best friend; Suzanne Lamoureux , grandchildren; Malerie Germain, Renee Turpin, Lillian Larcheveque, Samuel and Joseph Germain, Nathan and Vaughn Schlegal, 13 great grandchildren and nieces and nephews.
Marie was known for her kindness, her warm heart, and the unconditional love she gave to everyone she met. Marie was a well-known florist in her community for over 50 years, she had a true passion for flowers. She was a longtime member of Mary, Queen of the Rosary Parish and most recently was attending Mass at St. Joseph's Church in Charlton.
Her funeral will be held on Wednesday, June 18th from the J. HENRI MORIN & SON FUNERAL HOME, 23 Maple Terr., Spencer followed by a funeral Mass at 11 a.m. in Our Lady of the Rosary Church, 7 Church St., Spencer. Burial will be in Mary, Queen of the Rosary Cemetery, Spencer. A calling hour will be held on Wednesday from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. prior to the Mass.
