Marie R. (Gaffney) Snay

SPENCER: Marie R. (Gaffney) Snay, 77 of 40 Wall St., died Friday, April 24 at her home.
She leaves her husband of 46 years, Noe F. Snay, three sons Richard E. Tretheway and his wife Shari of Crete, Neb., Kenneth J. Tretheway and his wife Holly of Reno, Nev., and Allen R. Snay and his wife Christina of Spencer, two daughters Brenda M. Jackson and her husband Michael of N.Brookfield, and Donna M. McDonald and her husband John of Worcester, 12 grandchildren, 10 great grandchildren, nieces and nephews. She is predeceased by her brother Thomas Page.
Marie was a longtime supervisor at Mercury Wire Co. in Spencer before retirement.
Born in Spencer, she was the daughter of Leo and Eva (Landroche) Gaffney. She enjoyed yard sales, bingo, flowers and long walks.
A Memorial Mass will be held on Monday, April 27 at 11a.m. in the Our Lady of the Rosary Church, 7 Church St., Spencer. There are no calling hours.
