Mary Ellen (Fernet) Fish

LEICESTER: Mary Ellen (Fernet) Fish, 87, of Staunton, VA, formerly of Leicester, MA., died Friday, Feb. 3 rd. in Waynesboro, VA.
She was the wife of Roland J. Fish who died in 1981. She leaves her son; Joseph R. Fish and his wife Linda of E.Brookfield, her daughter; Kathleen M. Doyle and her life partner Gary Chellis of Staunton with whom she lived, 8 grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren.
Mary Ellen was a technician at Digital Equipment Corp, for many years prior to her retirement.
She was born in Athol, the daughter of Robert and Madeline (Doyle) Fernet. She wintered in Flagstaff, Ariz. for many years. She enjoyed her family, fashion and watching classic movies.
Funeral Services will be held on Tuesday, Feb. 14th. at 10 a.m. in the MORIN FUNERAL HOME, 1131 Main St., Leicester. Burial will follow in Worcester County Memorial Park, Paxton. Calling hours are Monday, Feb.13th from 5 to 7 p.m. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Leicester Ambulance Fund, 3 Washburn Sq., Leicester, MA 01524.
