Mary B. O'Neil

NORTH GROSVENORDALE, CT/CHERRY VALLEY, Mary B. O'Neil, 79, previously of Cherry Valley, a section of Leicester, died Sunday, November 1 in Harrington Healthcare at Hubbard in Webster.

She leaves a brother, James E. O'Neil and his wife Dorothy of Cherry Valley, two sisters; Margaret H. Partenheimer and her husband Paul, Elizabeth A. Larson and her husband David all of Leicester and nieces and nephews.

She was pre-deceased by two brothers, Rev. Leo J. O'Neil in 2005 and Daniel A. O'Neil on October 25, 2009.

Born in Worcester, she was the daughter of Leo A. & Margaret (Mulvey) O'Neil.

Mary graduated from St. Peters High School in Worcester and Our Lady of the Elms College in Chicopee. She received her Master's Degree and went on to teach for a year in Japan. She was head of the Language Department at Leicester High School and also taught at Becker College in Leicester over her 38 years as a teacher. She was a member of the Teacher's Association.

She was a member of St. Joseph's Church in Leicester. She enjoyed snow skiing, traveling and going to the Cape.

At the family's request, Funeral Services will be private. Burial in St. Joseph's Cemetery, Leicester will be at the convenience of the family.
