Mary D. Rock

SPENCER: Mary D. (Stopyra) Rock, 90, of Main Street died Monday, April 16 in Beaumont Rehab & Skilled Nursing Home in Worcester after an illness.

Her husband Milton D. Rock died in 1989. She leaves several nieces and nephews including Margaret Rossik of Auburn, Barbara Ann Gould of Worcester and Francis Stopyra of Auburn. She was pre-deceased by two sisters Stephanie "Stella" Wielgat and Pauline F. Young and three brothers Walter C. Stopyra, Theodore T. Stopyra and John F. Stopyra.

Mrs. Rock was born in Grafton, daughter of Thomas and Mary (Buba) Stopyra. She attended Worcester Public Schools. She worked the former G.E. Telechron in Worcester for many years before retiring.

The funeral will be held Wednesday, April 18 from J. HENRI MORIN & SON FUNERAL HOME, 23 Maple Terr., Spencer with a Mass at 10:00 AM in Our Lady of the Rosary Church, 7 Church Street, Spencer. Burial will follow in Worcester County Memorial Park, Paxton. A calling hour will precede the funeral from 8:45-9:45 AM.
