Maureen F. (Nigro) Huston

SPENCER: Maureen F. (Nigro) Huston, 66, of Cornfield Road died Thursday, Aug. 18 in her home surrounded by her loving family after a long illness.

She leaves her husband of 45 years Clifford A. Huston, a son Jeffrey J. Huston and his wife Karen of Spencer, a daughter Wendy E. Ryan and her husband Todd of Spencer, five grandchildren Brittney E., Danielle E., Kristen E., Kylie A. & Liam J. and several nieces and nephews. She was pre-deceased by a brother Frank P. Nigro, III.

Mrs. Huston was born in Boston, daughter of Frank P. and Elizabeth M. (Lynch) Nigro, Jr. She worked for many years at the Fallon Clinic most recently as an ophthalmologist technician and previously in the pediatrics department. She enjoyed crochet, reading, crafts and dancing. She owned and operated the former Bird Houses & More craft store in Spencer.

A Funeral Service will be held Wednesday, Aug. 24 at 11:00 AM in J. HENRI MORIN & SON FUNERAL HOME, 23 Maple Terr., Spencer. Burial will be private at the convenience of the family. Calling hours are Tuesday from 5:00-8:00 PM. In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to UMass Memorial Hospice, 650 Lincoln St., Worcester, MA 01605.
