Michael J. Guerra

Leicester: Michael J. Guerra, 88 of 491 Pleasant Street died Sunday Dec. 7 in St. Vincent Hospital. He leaves his wife Loretta G. (Harris) Guerra, two sons Michael J. Guerra, Jr. of Milford and Donald M. Guerra of Leicester, three brothers Domenic Guerra of Leicester, Frank Guerra of Worcester and John Guerra of Oregon, 4 Grandchildren and 3 greatgrandchildren.

Mr. Guerra was born in Streeter, Illinois son of Angelo and Laura (Scarano) Guerra. He was an electroplater at New Method Plating Co. in Worcester for 25 years retiring in 1985. He was a member of St. Aloysius-St. Jude Church and the Leicester Knights of Columbus Council 4528. He enjoyed gardening, traveling and woodworking.

The funeral will be held Wednesday Dec. 10 from Morrison - Morin Funeral Home, 1131 Main Street, Leicester. with a Mass at 10:00 AM in St. Aloysius - St. Jude Church, 489 Pleasant St., Leicester. Burial will be in St. Joseph's Cemetery, Leicester. Calling hours are 4-7 PM Tuesday Dec. 9 in the funeral home. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to: Leicester Friends of the Elders, P.O.
