Michael A. Marble

BROOKFIELD: Michael A. Marble, 51 of West Ward Way, died Thursday, Sept. 13 at UMASS Memorial Hospital in Worcester. He leaves his wife of 26 years, Diane L. (Dickinson) Marble, his son Matthew W. Marble at home, sisters Tina Desmarais and her husband William of Spencer, and Serena Silberstein of Leicester, his step father who raised him, Charles Silberstein of Leicester, his nephew William Desmarais, his in laws; William and Louise Dickinson of Brookfield, and his sister in law Christine Gagne and her husband John of Spencer.
Born in Worcester, he was the son of Chester Marble and Sheila (Facteau) Silberstein and later graduated from Worcester Boys Trade School. He enjoyed carpentry, trips with family to Maine, the beach and Six Flags.
Mike worked 28 years as a building service supervisor at EMC in Hopkinton.
A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, September 18 at 11 a.m. in the J.HENRI MORIN & SON FUNERAL HOME, 23 Maple Terr.,Spencer. A calling hour will precede the service from 10 to 11 a.m. in the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to a charity of choice.
