Muriel L. Cady

SPENCER: Muriel L. (Tenney) Cady, 92, died Wednesday, March 28 in Overlook Masonic Home, Charlton, after an illness.
She leaves her daughter Linda M. Fischer and her husband Richard of Southbridge, two grandchildren; Todd Fischer and Christine Waple, two great grandchildren; Dylan Fischer and Devin Salviuolo. She was predeceased by her first husband Raymond Pratt, her second husband Philip Cady, a sister Esther Christian and two brothers Alan & Robert Tenney.
Muriel was born in Spencer, daughter of John and Hattie (Jones) Tenney. She was a florist for 35 years at Spencer Flower Shop retiring in 1992. She graduated from David Prouty High School in 1944. She was a longtime member of the First Congregational Church of Spencer and the Harmony Rebekah's Lodge in Spencer. She volunteered to work the elections in Spencer for over 40 years.
A Memorial service will be held Thursday, April 5 at 10:00 AM in J. HENRI MORIN & SON FUNERAL HOME, 23 Maple Terr., Spencer. Burial will be at the convenience of the family in Westridge Cemetery, Charlton. There are no calling hours. In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to Spencer Rescue Squad, P.O.
