Muriel (Engstrom) Dube

LEICESTER; Muriel (Engstrom) Dube, 89, died peacefully Tuesday, August 1 at her son's home.
She leaves a daughter, Marilyn (Dube) Shellman and her husband Bob of North Kingstown, RI, three sons; Perry Dube and his wife Joan of Leicester, Luke Dube and his wife Cheryl, with whom she lived and were her caretakers, of Leicester, Rene Dube and his wife Diane of Leicester, ten grandchildren; Theresa (Dube) Dupuis and her husband Michael, Lisa (Dube) Premo and her husband Craig, Crissy (Dube) Harris and her husband Ralph, Thomas, Michelle Shellman, Julie, Benjamin, Molly and Joseph Dube, Angela Dube and her husband Cody, twelve great-grandchildren, Anthony, Sarah and Meaghan Dupuis, Shannon, Amber and Jennifer Premo, Elizabeth and Daniel Harris, Ethan Shellman, Cassidy and Savannah Parker, Cameron Dube Kraatz, two great-great grandchildren, Kaitlyn and Carly Boehnke and several nieces and nephews.
She is pre-deceased by her five sisters; Evelyn, Ethel, Eleanor, Vera and Margaret and a brother, Russell.
Born in Worcester, she was the daughter of Carl O. & Aina A. (Ericsson) Engstrom.
Mrs. Dube was a pharmacy technician for seven years at Fallon in Spencer, retiring in 1996.
She was a graduate of Leicester High School Class of 1947. She was a member of Greenville Baptist Church and the Senior Citizen Club of Leicester. She enjoyed quilting and leaves behind her dear friends Jan, Jane, Jean, June, Helen, Gladys and Sylvia. She also enjoyed gardening and reading.
The family would like to send a special thank you to the Overlook Hospice Staff for their special care to Muriel.
A Funeral Service will be held Friday, August 4 at 11 A.M. in Greenville Baptist Church (in the old building), 684 Pleasant St., Rochdale. Burial will follow in Greenville Baptist Cemetery. Calling hours are Thursday from 5-7 P.M. in the MORIN FUNERAL HOME, 1131 Main St., Leicester.
