Norma L. (Swenson) Moriarty

SHREWSBURY; Norma L. (Swenson) Moriarty, 82, died Thursday, July 17 at Notre Dame Long-term Care in Worcester after an illness.

She leaves her husband of 15 years, Dennis J. Moriarty, a step-daughter, Debra A. Sanderson and her husband Barry of Spencer, a brother, Lowell Swenson of Worcester, two sisters; Carol Anderson and Sandra Jones both of FLA., four step-grandchildren; Rebekah Milgate, Jared and Kenneth Sanderson, Mary Scannell, and two step-great-grandchildren, Cole and Emaline Milgate.

She was pre-deceased by her first husband Milton J. Parslow in 1996 and a sister Nancy Besse.

Born in Worcester, she was the daughter of Lowell & Viola J. (Allaire) Swenson.

Mrs. Moriarty was a graduate of Grafton High School. She was a secretary at Barrett Centrifugals, Inc. in East Millbury, retiring in 1991.

She was a member of S.A.C. in Shrewsbury. She was an avid golfer and in her lifetime was fortunate enough to have "two" holes in one. She enjoyed going to the ocean especially in FLA.

At Mrs. Moriarty request funeral services will be private. A private burial will take place in Riverside Cemetery, Grafton.
