Norma L. Wood

SPENCER: Norma L. (Lee) Wood, 85 of Pleasant St., died Thursday, Dec. 13 in Overlook Masonic Healthcare Center in Charlton.

She leaves her children, Nancy A. Wood with whom she lived, Paul C. Wood and his wife Anne of Spencer, April L. Burtt and her husband John of Barre and David A. Wood and his wife Lisa of Spencer, 7 grandchildren, several great grandchildren.

Norma was a Licensed Practical Nurse for over 30 years, retiring from UMASS Memorial-University Campus in 1995.

Born in Worcester, she was the daughter of Frederick A. and Edna M. (Jordan) Lee. She was a former member of the Rebekah's in Spencer and Rainbow Girls in Worcester. Norma loved all animals, especially her cats. She enjoyed crafts, painting and crossword puzzles. She had very fond memories of her 7 trips to Ireland.

Funeral Services will be held on Monday, Dec. 17 at 11a.m. in the J.HENRI MORIN & SON FUNERAL HOME, 23 Maple Terr., Spencer. Burial will follow in Pine Grove Cemetery, Spencer. A calling hour will precede the service from 10 to 11a.m. on Monday. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Second Chance Animal Shelter, P.O. Box 136, E.Brookfield, 01515.
