Patricia M. Allen

Patricia M. (Morrison) Allen,73, of 1499 Main St., died suddenly
Friday, Jan. 27 at her home.
Her husband of 51 years, Gordon R. Allen, died in 2004. She leaves a son
David and his wife Barbara Allen of Mt. Pleasant, S.C., a daughter Maryanne
and her husband Paul Gleason of Spencer, three sisters Katherine LeBoeuf of
Rochdale, Irene Zajac of Dudley and Barbara Kane of Leicester, five grand
children Brandt and Rosemary Allen of Mt. Pleasant, Benjamin, Bridget and
Christopher Gleason of Spencer, several nieces and nephews. She is
predeceased by a brother Ernest Morrison and a sister Theresa Henze.
Born in Leicester, she was the daughter of Ernest and Beatrice (Robidoux)
Morrison. She graduated from Leicester High School.
Mrs. Allen was a member of St. Joseph's Church, the Senior Citizen Club of
Leicester, Leicester Red Hat Society, Leicester Women's Club, Apache Campers
Club, and Leicester Senior's Bowling League. She enjoyed crafts, reading and
especially her grand children.
The funeral will be held on Monday, Jan. 30 from the MORRISON- MORIN FUNERAL
HOME, 1131 Main St., Leicester with a Mass at 11 a.m. in St. Joseph's
Church, 759 Main St.,Leicester. Burial will follow in Mooreland Cemetery,
Paxton. Calling hours will be held on Monday from 9 to 10:30 a.m. in the
funeral home. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to York Place
Children's Home, 234 Kings Mountain St., York, S.C., 29745.
