Patricia A. (Durant) Peterson

LEICESTER; Patricia A. (Durant) Peterson, 80, of Tanglewood Rd., died peacefully Sunday, Jan. 28 at Overlook Masonic Home in Charlton while surrounded by family.

She leaves her husband of 60 years, Robert O. Peterson, her sons, Steven R. Peterson and his wife Julie of Charleston, SC, and Scot D. Peterson and his wife Christine of Spencer, 5 grandchildren, Chelsea, Nicolas, Janel, Hailey and Hanna Peterson, several nieces and nephews. She is predeceased by a brother, Daniel Durant of Vernon, CT.

Pat worked many years in the banking industry then became a secretary for Worcester Youth Guidance Center, retiring in 2002.

Born in Worcester, she was the daughter of Ernest L. and Margaret (Bradshaw) Durant. The family would like to thank the staff at Overlook for the exceptional care and support given to our loved ones.

Funeral services will be held on Saturday at 10:30 a.m. in the MORIN FUNERAL HOME, 1131 Main St., Leicester. Burial will follow in Worcester County Memorial Park, Paxton. A calling hour will be held on Saturday from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. prior to the service. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to St. Jude's Children's Hospital, 501 St. Jude Pl., Memphis, TN, 38105.
