Patricia R. Jackman

LEICESTER: Patricia R. (Kilmonis) Jackman,89, of Leicester, died Friday, April 25th in Wachusett Rehabilitation and Nursing Center, Gardner.

She was the wife of Charles J. Jackman who died in 2005. She leaves her son, Charles A. Jackman and his wife Irene of New Ipswich, NH.,her grandchildren; Danny Jackman and his wife Casey of Derry, NH, and Dreama Sharp of Ohio, her great grandchildren; Seamus, Preston & Elliott, her brother; Peter Kilmonis of Worcester, her sister; Maryann Steele of Stanton, VA, several nieces and nephews. She is predeceased by her grandson; Michael Jackman in 2021.

Pat was a social worker for the State of MA. For many years, retiring in 1995. Previously, she was a social worker for Catholic Charities of Norwich, CT and several area nursing homes. After her retirement, she volunteered in the School Reading Program in Worcester. She was a member of St. Joseph-St. Pius X Parish, Leicester Women's Club, Red Hat Society and the Senior Citizen Club of Leicester. She enjoyed painting, reading and summering on Cape Cod.

Born in Worcester, she was the daughter of Peter and Mary (Jones) Kilmonis and later graduated from South High School in Worcester and earned her bachelor's degree from Anna Maria College in Paxton.

Her funeral will be held on Monday, May 5th from the MORIN FUNERAL HOME, 1131 Main St., Leicester with a funeral Mass at 10 a.m. in St. Pius X Church, 1161 Main St., Leicester. Burial will follow in Notre Dame Cemetery, Worcester. Calling hours are Sunday, May 4th from 3 to 5p.m. in the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to St. Joseph-St. Pius X Parish, 759 Main St., Leicester, Ma 01524.
