Paul Letendre

SPENCER: Paul H. Letendre,77, of 3 Old Farm Rd., died Sunday, July 6 at UMASS Memorial-55 Lake Ave., Worcester after a long illness.
He leaves his wife of 55 years, Betty J. (Simonovitch) Letendre, a daughter Cathy J. Meloche and her husband Russell of Spencer, a son Louis Letendre and his wife Michele of Quebec, Can., 4 brothers and 5 sisters, 3 grand children and 2 great grandchildren, many nieces and nephews.
Mr. Letendre was a custodian for the Spencer School System for 10 years and David Prouty High School before retiring in 1995. He previously worked at Brookfield Athletic Shoe Co. in E.Brookfield for 27 years.
Born in Spencer, he was the son of Louis H. and Clara P. (Ledoux) Letendre, Jr.
Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, July 9 at 11a.m. in the J.HENRI MORIN & SON FUNERAL HOME, 23 Maple Terr., Spencer. Burial will follow in Worcester County Memorial Park, Paxton. Calling hours will precede the service on Wednesday from 9 to 11a.m. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the American Diabetes Association, 330 Congress St., 5th. flr., Boston, Ma. 02210
